I was so staunchly #MAGA in 2016 that I would have broken down in tears for a week if Hillary Clinton won the election. I'm pro-gun, but also anti-murder, as we all should be. Andrew Yang is the only candidate running that has the right solutions to gun violence in our country while still remaining on the Republican's good side, period. Let me just go ahead and point out my only problem with Andrew's policy. The fine if a gun company manufactures a gun used in a mass shooting is, while logically sound, an absolute nightmare for small gun companies. We're not talking Smith&Wesson here folks, we're talking small time weapons research, we're talking businesses held up by the gun community. These small-time researchers and startup gun companies simply don't have the capital to pay a $10M fine for something they had no control or influence on. So while yes, that idea is sound for the Mega-corporations, it's absolutely against American entrepreneurship. I urge Andrew to reconsider this stance, for the sake of business owners everywhere. Now, back to a little about my conversion story. I had always been interested in Andrew Yang, but never bothered to be politically active or engage with the #YangGang. I had tried to hang myself during a drug bender in late August of this year, failed, and then beat depression, all in the span of a few days. It was then I discovered I'm autistic, which I am still waiting to have diagnosed, for full disclaimer. Following this reevaluation of life I found myself and my political beliefs to be hated, shunned, and demonized by both the left and right. It was then that I posted this angry rant on Reddit, to a centrist subreddit. / i_had_to_make_this_rant_after_everything_i... It was met with some hate, but a lot of agreement and love. I finally realized I wasn't alone in the fact that I wasn't brainwashed by a dogma of hate and exclusion. I then started researching the #YangGang more, I was met with nothing but acceptance I had never felt in my life before, become a heavy political advocate and supporter of Andrew, and the rest is happening RIGHT NOW, on the road to the oval office. This campaign has not only given me a place to belong, but inspiration to start moving forward with my debut album for my band IshtarEresh. (Something which the #UBI would help immensely with.) Please, if anyone would like to invite me to a podcast to debate with me against Andrew, talk about why Andrew is so great, to DM me, or just follow me on Twitter, my handle is @IshtarEresh Have a good day, and remember, no matter where your politics are, you're still a part of our thoughts in #HumanityFirst. And in case you're wondering who I supported before Trump, it was Bernie. Got Berned by the DNC and lost all faith in the Democratic party. Please, YangGang, translate this video and description if you can! Spread the message!
