How to Paint Pink Roses in Watercolor – Easy Floral Painting Tutorial

In this watercolor painting, I started by creating a soft background using the wet-on-wet technique. I first wet the paper and applied a mix of Ultramarine, Green, and Violet to create a dreamy, blended backdrop. While the paper was still damp, I laid down the base colors for my pink roses using Deep Yellow, Rose Madder, and Orange, allowing the colors to merge naturally. Once the initial layers dried, I focused on adding details, carefully defining the flowers by painting around them and using negative space to bring out their delicate shapes.
