First-St. Andrew's United Church Worship Service - Christmas Eve - December 24, 2024

Welcome to worship at First-St. Andrew's United Church in London, Ontario! We are pleased to present this live-stream of our Christmas Eve worship service on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. The live-stream will begin at 6:30pm. This Intergenerational service truly has something for everyone! Beginning at 6:30pm, we will have festive music and an opportunity to sing along with some of your favourite Christmas hymns. We hope this Gathering Music will be a time of centering, a chance to escape the hustle and bustle and remember the true reason for the season. At 7pm, Rev. Dr. Joshua Lawrence will welcome everyone to the service. Our young people have been working hard and are pleased to present their Christmas pageant, written & directed by Laura Wood. Following the pageant will be some of the more traditional elements of Christmas Eve worship; scripture, Communion and of course, lots of music! Tonight's Gospel lesson is Luke 2: 1-20 read by Paul Merritt. Many thanks to Minister of Music, Chris Fischer, our Senior Choir, and the FSA Strings with conductor Igor Saika. Combining the best of the season, we hope this service will fill you with hope, peace, joy, and love as we celebrate together the birth of the Christ Child.
