Sure ML, data science and AI are really cool - but what's even cooler is applying them to the physical world! In this new series we're going to explore the wonderful field of robotics - starting with some very simple examples with arduino (no experience needed!). In future episodes we will go on to try different microcontrollers and techniques, and eventually some more advanced applications of physical intelligence (like lerobot arms!). Super excited to learn a lot of new things, get creative, and have some fun! I've sketeched out the next phases of this project and will continue to update all my work and design in the github repo: https://github.com/iuliaferoli/arduin... If you have more suggestions please let me know in the comments - I will answer and try to incorporate all the advice in each follow-up episode! 00:00 where data science meets robotics 00:44 starting with arduino 01:16 basic components (bread?) 01:55 power and ground 02:45 let there be light! 03:00 buttons! 03:15 starter kit and sensors 03:33 robot arm 03:45 servomotors 04:22 potentiometer 04:50 adding some code 05:19 multiple motors! 05:45 arduino IDE 06:05 adding arms! 06:27 tape FTW 07:00 first prototype 07:20 lego? 07:40 github repository: https://github.com/iuliaferoli/arduin... 08:00 future plans for sensors 08:25 lerobot 101 Follow iulia on: Patreon for updates, chat, extra content: patreon.com/c/BacktoEngineering Instagram for behind the scenes: instagram.com/backtoengineering GitHub for the project code: https://github.com/iuliaferoli X for yapping: x.com/iuliaferoli For business enquiries (sponsorships, collabs, etc) reach out at: [email protected] Coming soon! - https://backtoengineering.com/ #robotics #arduino #engineering
