The presidents played in a friendly match with stars from Russia's Night Hockey League. Putin and Lukashenko teamed up in their all-star game, winning 12:3. Former hockey players Vyacheslav Fetisov, Pavel Bure, Alexander Kozhevnikov took part in the match, making it no easy feat. Russian Defence Minister, Sergey Shoigu, also participated. Putin made headlines in 2012 when he played in an Ice Hockey match hours after securing his third term as president. In that game, Putin set up the equalising goal and scored the winner in the shoot-out.
