Two powerful earthquakes hit central Italy

A 5.5 magnitude earthquake hit the Marche region in central Italy on Wednesday, followed by a second one measuring 6.1 magnitude 2 hours later. Buildings in the region were badly damaged, but there have been no reports of fatalities and only minor injuries so far.
