Twilight Zone Pinball with updated LEDs and Mods

Classic 1993 Twilight Zone Pinball with updated LED lighting and mods. I’m hoping that these videos will help others make informed decisions on which, if any, mods they might want to incorporate into their own machines. You should know, I am not someone who works on pinball machines. This is really my first attempt at adding anything. There are plenty of good videos that will help you if you have questions regarding how to add them but hopefully this video will help you with seeing what they look like and whether or not you want to get them at all. MODS: Marbles added to Gumball machine Dazzler LED for Gumball machine Piano Mod Camera Mod Thunderbird Car Two LED Light Kits (A Premium Non-Ghosting Kit for the Playfield and a Door Kit) Courthouse Color DMD (LCD) The mod selections I chose to add were based on personal, taste but I had to take a gamble on whether or not I would like them once installed. Except for a few issues, which I will cover below, I would have to say that I’m pleased overall. The issues I did encounter are the following: 1) The Camera mod L bracket was made of a very cheap plastic and broke in my wife’s hands as we were removing the mini play field. What you see holding it in the video is a window treatment (an old bracket for shades I believe) that works much better since it’s both stronger and allows better visibility to the Left Upper Flipper (compared to the original). That brings up the second consideration, which is how much it might interfere with your view of that left upper flipper. As it is now, I can see well enough, but my wife has trouble and has to stand on her toes to see over it (for reference, she is 5’ 1” where I’m 5 ’9”). Lastly, the camera is in a high traffic area so it may move from time to time. 2) The Thunderbird Car mod also came with a very flimsy base, which I also replaced with an old window treatment bracket. Now it’s as sturdy as I could have hoped for and is out of the way, so no movement issues yet. What I was pleasantly surprised by: The Color DMD (LCD) comes with various settings, one of which allows you to change how the graphics are displayed. Options include dot, XLdot, tile, 8-bit, and a few others, but I like the default Hi-RES option best. Best of luck to all you pin-heads out there!
