Kyrgyz Government and UNHCR conducted simulation exercise to enhance emergency preparedness

On 20 May 2022 the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, supported by UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, conducted a simulation exercise in Osh region. The exercise was aimed at working out government response plans in the unlikely event of mass arrival of refugees and enhancing coordination between state authorities, international and other organizations in emergency response.
