Ingredients: For the cake ~ *1/2 cup Milk *1 & 1/2 tsp Lemon juice / vinegar *1/4 cup Vegetable oil (neutral without any fragrance) *3/4 cup All purpose flour *1/4 cup + 2 tbsp Powdered sugar *1/2 tsp Baking powder *1/2 tsp Baking soda For 3 milk mixture or soak ~ *3/4 cup Fresh cream *1/2 cup Milk *1/2 cup Condensed milk For garnish ~ *1/2 cup Whipped cream *1 tbsp Pistachios *1 tbsp Rose petals Method : *Pre-heat the oven at 170 degree Celsius *To make the cake batter: Start by mixing milk and lemon juice (or vinegar) - keep aside for 5 mins to make instant buttermilk *In another bowl , Sift in the dry ingredients (flour, powdered sugar, baking powder & baking soda ) *Next, add in the oil along with vanilla essence to our instant buttermilk & whisk really well *Next, add the wet ingredients to our sifted dry ingredients & mix until a lump free batter is ready *Grease a cake tin & pour the batter in it *Bake at 170C for 30-35 mins (or in a cooker/kadai setup for 40 minutes on medium flame) until a skewer inserted comes out clean *To make the soak: combine milk, condensed milk & cream together *Once the cake has baked, let it to cool down completely *Then using a fork prick the cake & pour half of the the soak all over it *Set the cake in the refrigerator & let it rest for at-least 2-3 hours *Garnish the cake with whipped cream, dried rose petals & chopped pistachios *Pour some of the remaining mixture with slice & Enjoy #divilicious #cake #egglesstreslechescake #treslechescake #tresleches #egglesscake #egglessbaking #baking #foodlovers #sweet
