Breaking News: Government delegation meets MQM-P leaders last night with PM's message, what was the response? PM IK | PDM | Agreement between Joint Opposition and MQM-Pakistan | In a major blow to PTI, MQM-P decides to support Opposition's no-confidence motion | 30th March 2022 In a major blow, MQM-P has decided to desert the ruling PTI and has joined hands with the combined Opposition over the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan, Geo News reported on Wednesday, citing sources. With this big surprise to Imran Khan by MQM-P before the no-confidence motion, the government is left with the support of only 164 members of the Parliament. Meanwhile, the combined Opposition has gained the strength of 177 members. According to sources, matters have been settled between the joint Opposition and the MQM-P after which it reportedly announced its decision to support the no-confidence motion. According to sources, the MQM-P will support the Opposition in the no-confidence motion while a draft of the agreement between the two sides is being prepared. According to sources, the draft will be signed by the leaders of MQM-P and the combined Opposition. All the Opposition leaders including PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman were present at the Parliament Lodges. The MQM-P delegation, led by Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, held the negotiations. PPP leader Faisal Karim Kundi said the combined Opposition will hold a press conference at 4pm today.
