Brody Dalle - Coral Fang (Live at the Mann Center, July 20, 2014)

i cant believe how perfectly i timed hitting record to catch the count in. i was jumping up and down like an idiot during her whole set holding up my coral fang cd with the alternate cover hoping she would play the title track. she did, but i suspect it was already part of the setlist and not because of the one crazy distillers fans request. i was also holding it next to my phone the whole time they played the song. this is easily my favorite album of the distillers, and possibly my favorite song off the album. who would have thought that 4 power chords could sound so cool? sadly, i didnt get the album signed like i was hoping, but i did see tony just walking around with the drummer during the queens of the stone ages set. i didnt have a pen or marker and didnt want to bother him so i let the opportunity slip. i totally forgot i could have asked for a photo. carpe diem and such.
