New COVID-19 cases in S. Korea rise to 54,941; severe cases at 275

신규확진 5만6천431명, 또 역대최다 South Korea has again reported a record high number of coronavirus infections. On Sunday, new cases came in at 54-thousand-9-hundred-41. This is the third day the figure's been above 50-thousand, though it's expected to rise several times higher than that in the weeks to come. The number of people who are severely ill, however, was at 275,... and has been in the two-hundreds for more than two weeks straight. At this point, the vast majority of people infected with the virus are self-isolating and recovering at home if they have mild or no symptoms... as the health authorities reserve medical treatment for those who need it.
