Soap and Ghost deploy to Las Almas to link up with Mexican Special Forces, Los Vaqueros, led by Alejandro Vargas. To provide support without escalating tensions or starting a war in Mexico, General Shepherd authorizes Shadow Company, commanded by Phillip Graves, to assist the operation. As Soap, Ghost, and Alejandro navigate the cartel-controlled streets of Las Almas, they uncover the influence of El Sin Nombre and the deep corruption plaguing the region. The team raids a village believed to be sheltering Hassan, eliminating cartel forces along the way. Although Hassan has already moved on, evidence of his presence—marked by a Quds Force flag—confirms they’re on the right trail. The mission quickly spirals when the Mexican Army, bribed by the cartel, moves in.
