Holocaust Survivor Talk: Elisabeth Mann

March 3, 2022 Elisabeth Mann was born in Kecskemet, Hungary in 1924. Following the invasion and subsequent Nazi German occupation of Hungary in 1944, Elisabeth and her family were deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau. For the next year, Elisabeth worked in forced labor camps throughout Germany. After liberation, she moved to Sweden for several years where she became a teacher. From Sweden, she moved to Los Angeles where she raised her family.
