PC2 - PS4 - Hotlap & dry race setup Ginetta G55 GT4 - Sportsland Sugo - Time: 1:25.840

This is the Ginetta G55 GT4 base race setup which I made for the last round of the Ginetta GT4 Supercup organized by ESR Championships. Because I had limited time I had to create a setup really quick, but nevertheless I am very happy with the result. First I focussed on the most important section of the track, which is definitely the first sector until you enter the back straight of the track. Due to the fact that you have to be able to attack the kerb stones to set a proper lap time through the first sector, I increased the ride height quite a lot in both the front and the rear. Next tot hat I wanted to get rid of the oversteer mid-corner and at corner exit. I tried to get rid of the oversteer by decreasing the front negative camber quite a lot, adjusted the rear negative camber accordingly, but just enough that I did not get more understeer through sector two and three. Lap times during the race will roughly between 1:25.000 and 1:26.000 however, it all depends on traffic on track as overtaking is a pain in the ass with just two spots to overtake. I am also pretty sure that with a little more time to set up the car, the lap times around Sportsland Sugo could be way better than the 1:25.840 in this video. I hope you enjoyed my YouTube movie.
