Family members of Bianca Vite, 21, of Pleasant Prairie, briefly begin to clap on Thursday, March 12, 2015, in a Racine County courtroom as Racine County Circuit Judge Tim Boyle hands down his sentence to Racine resident Joseph M. Guerrero, 38, formerly of Kenosha. Guerrero was convicted of murdering Vite, whom he had married in July 2012 in Lake County, Illinois. Boyle also sentenced Guerrero to 32 1/2 years in prison plus 20 years on extended supervision, but those terms will be served at the same time as his natural life term.
