Lingashtakam or the Prayer in the praise of the Lingam comprises the eight verses of the Lingashtakam stotram. This translation of the Sanskrit Lingashtakam into tamil done by the eminent lyricist Dr. Ulundurpettai shanmugam has been inspired by the Lingashtakam by S.P. Balasubramaniam and soulfully rendered by the famous Kattum Katti singer Srihari. This selection of various Shiva shlokas has been compiled from the album Shiva Stuti in tamil with music composed by Pradeep and lyrics by Dr. Ulundurpettai shanmugam.
