Congratulations to Nthabiseng Mavis Mateba from Are-Itshokeng Primary School in Klerksdorp, North West, for winning the Excellence in Teaching Life Skills (Grades 1-6) award at the National Teaching Awards. Among her prizes is a new Renault KWID. We celebrate this achievement and encourage her continued exceptional work in advancing quality education. Since its establishment in 2000, the National Teaching Awards have recognized the incredible work of teachers who shape young minds and build a better future. These awards highlight the critical role educators play in overcoming challenges and fostering equitable learning environments.
