It lathers up easy and the lather had more staying power than other natural shaving soaps/creams. It left an oily finish after each pass - I think that was from the beeswax that helps make up the soap. I'm not really into oily finishes but it did feel like it was moisturizing my skin. The Aftershave Tonic was good - a very nice scent - leather and tobacco. It is classed as Vegan but I question basing the scent around 'leather' if it's Vegan. That aside....I liked it. Needs to be shaken well before use and a little goes a long way so good bang for your buck. Oily finish with the tonic but no drama and gives a good finish. The Schick Krona blade is a ripper that deserves it's reputation as one of the classic vintage blades. They bob up from time to time on ebay and etsy and are well worth chasing. Happy Shaving :-)
