Thousands of protestors stormed the presidential palace in Colombo and themselves home. Protestors were seen enjoying the luxuries reserved for the President and his family. The protesters were seen working out at the presidential gym, taking dips in the swimming pool, and gorging on the food in the President’s kitchen. Earlier, President Gotabaya Rajapaksa fled his official residence in the capital Colombo after thousands of protesters surrounded the house amid the deepening political and economic crises in the country. Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe has stepped down from the post.
