Air France, established in 1933, is one of the largest airlines in the world with a long history of providing premium travel experiences to its passengers. Recently, I had the chance to fly with them on a Boeing 777 in Business Class, and I have mixed feelings about the experience. The lounge was spacious with a great variety of food and drinks, which made it a pleasant pre-flight experience. However, the boarding process was seamless and a breeze, which was a positive surprise. Once I was inside the cabin, the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. However, the seats were a bit of a letdown. They were old, angled lie-flat seats, not very comfortable and lacked the necessary cushioning and support for a comfortable sleep. Additionally, the entertainment system was slow and outdated, making it difficult to fully enjoy the inflight entertainment options. On the positive side, the food and service were exceptional. The meal was delicious, and the staff was attentive and accommodating, making sure I had a comfortable flight. In conclusion, while the lounge, boarding process, and food and service were great, the outdated seats and slow entertainment system detracted from the overall experience. Air France has a rich history and reputation for premium travel, but it's time for them to invest in upgrading their business class cabin to meet the standards of today's travelers.
