In the shadowy isolation of a rugged frontier cabin, nine men gather around a dim candle's flickering light as a coroner reads from an old, cryptic book found among the belongings of the deceased. Outside, the night fills with haunting wilderness sounds, but within the cabin, all is deathly silent, as if waiting for something more chilling than the corpse on the table to make itself known.
