Dr. James Morrill, MD, PhD, Primary Care Physician and Clinician-Educator at Massachusetts General Hospital Charlestown Healthcare Center Summary: Hepatitis C virus is the most common chronic bloodborne infection in the United States. Close to 3.2 million individuals are chronically infected. Mr. Church and Dr. Morrill will focus on transmission of and screening for hepatitis C. Also, the presenters will discuss important guidelines for treatment and provide valuable resources for providers.
