We begin in Kuantan, Pahang, where the Church of St Thomas the Apostle marked its 118th anniversary with a vibrant seven-day celebration honouring the feast of its patron. Italian Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò has been found guilty of schism and excommunicated. A 17th century cathedral in the Philippines was conferred with national shrine status.
