Today one more organ donation was done from INS Hospital Surat through Donate Life. 23rd pair of Lungs along with Liver, Kidneys and Corneas have been donated of Rasilaben Jitubhai Bhesaniya age 53 from INS Hospital Surat through Donate Life giving new lease of life and vision to 6 persons. Along with this donations till date Donate Life has successfully contributed to donation of 1200 organs and tissue with 492 Kidney, 212 Liver, 50 Heart, 46 Lungs, 8 Pancreas, 1 Intestine, 4 Hands and 387 Corneas giving new lease of life and vision to 1101 organ failure patients in our country and globe. We salute the Family members of Late Rasilaben Jitubhai Bhesaniya age 53 for their brave decision to donate the vital organs of their beloved one after doctors declared her brain dead. Lungs transplantation will be done at Medanta The Medicity Hospital, Gurugram, Haryana. Liver and Kidney transplantation will be done at IKDRC Ahemadabad. Corneas were donated to Lokdrashti Chakshu Bank. We are very much thankful to Doctors and Management of INS Hospital Surat for their wholehearted support to this noble cause. Special thanks to Surat City Police for providing Green Corridor. Till date Surat City Police provided 112 Green Corridor.
