We have got some really exciting Epic Universe news to break down today and honestly things are moving fast over there. Let's start with the big stuff. New permits have been filed for Epic Universe and this is where it gets really interesting. A permit was filed for site work including mass grading, utility points of connection, and re-routes for early work purposes of a future attraction known as Project 680. And what makes this one stand out from all the other permits we've seen is that this is the first time the word "attraction" has officially been used in one of these permits. That is a big deal. This isn't maintenance work or an event space. This is the groundwork for something new coming to the park. Project 680 is a completely new project name, and interestingly the closest known project number to it is Project 675, which was rumored to be for a Zelda-themed area according to theme park permit watchers. So the speculation is already running wild and honestly we are here for it. On top of that, work also began back in December on a rumored events pavilion next to Super Nintendo World, and there are additional permits tied to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter area as well. When you put all of these pieces together, it really does feel like Universal is moving on Epic Universe's next chapter way faster than anyone expected. Now for the other big piece of news that a lot of you have been waiting on. Stardust Racers is back open. The roller coaster was originally only expected to be closed from February 19th for just a few days, but Universal extended the closure multiple times with the most recent reopening date pushed all the way to April 5th before it quietly reopened ahead of schedule on March 25th. Universal clarified that the closure was tied to the coaster's first annual inspection along with additional capacity and throughput enhancements being implemented during the downtime. So it sounds like they used that time to actually improve the experience on top of the routine work, which is great to hear. This is actually Stardust Racers' third significant closure since Epic Universe opened less than a year ago, so it has had a pretty rough first year operationally. But the good news is it's back, it's running, and people are already reporting wait times over an hour so clearly the demand is there. We're breaking all of this down in today's video so make sure you stick around for the full breakdown. Drop your thoughts in the comments. What do you think Project 680 could be?
