Rockford Police release surveillance video in effort to identify would-be robber

Detectives from the Rockford Police Department are asking for help identifying the suspect involved in Tuesday night’s attempted armed robbery involving an off-duty Winnebago County Sheriff’s deputy. Attached are two clips of surveillance video which captured the incident.
