Adopting Hens | Life from my 300 year old cosy cottage in the UK

We are over 37 days into constant rain at the cottage, but I couldn't title another video that so instead this is a video focusing on adopting hens and giving them a second chance at life. They are in quarantine for a week (muddy I know, sorry we have had floods and will move them in a weeks time) having worming treatment and I am keeping an eye on them before they can properly meet my other two girls. I ended up getting five instead of four because the man insisted to be honest - I think he was just glat to see them go to a loving home. I also ended up (since this video was made, as we lost our internet due to weather issues) adopting three more for my MIL to keep on her allotment which I thought was lovely. Where to adopt Hens: We got ours straight from the farm before they go to the welfare trust, which is where the rest will go from the farm we adopted from. You can adopt from them here: https://www.bhwt.org.uk and I strongly suggest anyone does this if they have a garden or green space. You can put your girls in a rabbit hutch at night and then let them roam in the day, I have even got friends who have theirs sleep in old dog houses with a door on and one had hers in an old children's play house. We let ours roam around during the day and will let the new girls do this after they have been wormed and checked.
