Beginner Mistake you need to fix ❗️Reminder: We hold the violin not with the left hand but with the head (jaw, chin, and part of the cheek). ❗️This tip is meant only for those who haven’t started using vibrato or shifting yet. It was supposed to be a green check mark — my mistake! The green one is the correct one. It’s crucial to have proper contact between the left hand and the violin. The first contact point is the tip of the thumb, and the second is under the left index finger knuckle. If you notice that your index finger is not touching the violin and is floating away, make sure to get these two points in contact with the violin’s neck. 🎯 This adjustment will help with your overall left-hand position, intonation, and more. 🎶👌 Hope this was helpful!
