Test Driving my 1981 C3 Corvette

I could finally take my 1981 Corvette for a quick test drive and shakedown. And I'm happy to report that it went very well with the car running smoothly and without issues. The original Quadrajet carburetor rebuilt by All American Carburetors of Orange Park, Florida, is performing like new. Upon start-up, the fast idle engages immediately and a blip of the gas pedal brings the fast-idle cam down one notch until the engine temperature allows the curb idle to take over. As expected, the shakedown test drive revealed a couple of items that will need attention either by me or a future owner, but nothing significant.
