HPDE by Autointerests at Shenandoah Circuit with FR-S

This was my first track day ever in the FR-S. I’ve participated in about 20 autocross events, but never a track day. My car buddies talked me into it and helped a lot in preparing the car. Car was run with front Carbotech XP8 brake pads, Wagner rotors, ATE type 200 brake fluid, and borrowed BRZ stock wheels and tires. The XP8s performed amazing and were truly missed when swapped out for stock rotors and pads. Overall, it was a crazy day with classes and sessions, but I got signed off for solo and passenger. These were my best laps in the Open session. Being passed by the WRX and S2000 were good motivation knowing I could be pushing the car a little bit harder. (My brother used to own a S2000 and now owns a WRX) I felt like I was racing against him out there like we used to in Auto. Hopefully someday soon!!
