You're bound to catch one of these in Viridian Forest -- let's draw CATERPIE! **NOTE: As I have mentioned, I have taken a break from my regularly scheduled tutorials to be with my family for Thanksgiving. In the meantime, enjoy these Pokemon tutorials, which I pre-recorded before my break. If you haven't already done so, be sure to watch the Introduction video first:    • The POKEMON DRAWING PROJECT! | Introduction   Also, download the FREE Pokedex Drawing Sheet from my website: http://drawittoo.com/index.php/2016/1... Get the Pokedex data (to fill out your sheet) from the Pokemon Database website: http://pokemondb.net/pokedex/all Click on any of the Pokemon names for more detailed info! And be sure to watch all my other Pokemon tutorials. My goal is to have a COMPLETE Pokemon tutorial playlist! Check it out:    • The Pokemon Drawing Project! | Category Pl...   Happy drawing, Ramny PLEASE NOTE: Since I am doing the Pokemon in the order they appear in the Pokedex, I AM NOT TAKING ANY TUTORIAL REQUESTS FOR SPECIFIC POKEMON. Sorry about that. POKEMON BIOLOGY: Caterpie is a Pokémon that resembles a green caterpillar. There yellow ring-shaped markings down the sides of its body, which resemble its large yellow eyes. Its most notable characteristic is the bright red antenna (osmeterium) on its head, which releases a stench to repel predators. This structure and the large eye-shaped markings help to startle predators. Its feet are tipped with suction cups, permitting this Pokémon to scale most surfaces with minimal effort. Some are great, but some are not so good. Here's how I sort them out: 1. Is it current? (From a TV show or game that's currently popular, from a movie that's coming up or just released in the last few months, or from a current run in the comic books, etc.) 2. Is it a popular, mainstream character? (People who don't usually watch the show/movie, or read the comics, still know the character.) 3. Is there enough interest from my viewers? (I do keep a note of all suggestions made in the comments section.) 4. Is it a popular enough YouTube search? (I use a keyword tool to see how often people search for tutorials on characters, before I draw.) 5. Is it easy to do a tutorial on? (Some things are very difficult or time-consuming to do tutorials on.) 6. Have I done a tutorial of it already? (Since there are too many characters out there to draw, I try not to do the same character twice.) Since I get A TON of requests everyday, I ask all of you to please be patient with me as I can only do several tutorials per week.
