Saudi Arabia holds military parade, security drill ahead of Hajj

Military vehicles moving with Saudi flags STORYLINE: Thousands of Saudi elite forces conducted a military parade in Mecca on Wednesday, ahead of the Muslim Hajj pilgrimage. With camouflage faces, elite security forces paraded in front of local and international media who were invited to cover the event that was attended by local officials. This year, Muslim pilgrims are returning to the holy city of Mecca in their usual numbers as used to be seen before the COVID 19 pandemic. Hajj is considered the fifth pillar of Islam and Muslims are duty bound to undertake it at least once in their life.
