A Day in the Saddle: Champagne on a Royal Enfield Bullet 500
Join us on our journey from Verdun to Evreux on the trusty Royal Enfield Bullet 500. This 400km ride is undoubtedly one of our longest but provides some of the intriguing moments on the adventure. 🏍️ Our day starts with an unexpected sighting - a Willys Jeep, stirring memories of WWII in a place more commonly associated with WWI. From there, we traverse through the Marne region, bearing witness to poignant WWI memorials that silently tell tales of a bygone era. We then enter the celebrated Champagne region, where lush vineyards paint the landscape and the scent of possibility is in the air. 🍇 But the surprises don't end there. In Vincy-Manœuvre, we happen upon a lively vintage car rally, a whirl of jazz music, and rock-n-roll. The old-school vibes make us wish we could stay longer, but the open road beckons us forth. Maybe next time? As we continue our ride, the French countryside unravels around us in an array of nondescript towns and serene landscapes. Tired but fulfilled, we finally roll into Evreux, concluding our day in the saddle. It might be one of our shortest videos, but it encapsulates one of our longest journeys.
