Tirailleur follows a Senegalese soldier in the French colonial forces fighting to liberate France, highlighting themes of sacrifice and injustice. The Last Tiger shifts to the German side, showing a tank crew questioning the war as the Third Reich collapses. Between these narratives, the game explores the brutality, moral ambiguity, and human cost of war from multiple viewpoints rather than a single hero. There is also a framing prologue and epilogue featuring a convict recounting these stories, emphasizing remembrance and the idea that war is experienced differently by everyone involved.
