George Skinner President Candidate 2019 Video Manifesto

Transcript: Hi I'm George and I'm vice president of the Law Society and in my final year of my law degree and this year I'm running to be your RUSU President. I want to produce a Student Union everyone can be proud of. My manifesto hinges on three things: accountability accessibility and affordability. Some of my main ideas include lobbying the university to share breakdown of tuition fee expenditure it's time that we knew where our tuition fees were being spent. I also want to continue the work on the University of Reading app combining timetables and emails into one concise app. The room booking system at the moment needs to change. I plan to create an online room booking portal. The process at the moment is too confusing. I also look to subsidize textbooks for those most in need.
