MTA: 2017 New Flyer XN40's [720]/[710] Bx6/Bx6 SBS

River Avenue & East 161st Street 2017 New Flyer XN40 #720 on the Bx6 +SBS To Hunts Point 2017 New Flyer XN40 #710 on the Bx6 local To Hunts Point [MTA New York City Bus] West Farms bus NOTE: After waiting for few months to happen, the Bx6 +SBS has made it's first day on September 3, 2017. This is the MTA's fifteenth +SBS route, West Farms's first +SBS route and the only CNG +SBS route. The Bx6 +SBS uses the New Flyer XN40's with the SBS paint scheme, while the Bx6 local uses other equipment. Both the local and express operate between Riverside Drive and Hunts Point. The Bx6 local operates at all times, while the Bx6 +SBS runs except late nights. West Farms's New Flyer XN40 order is not yet completed, it still needs 734-741 and when it is completed, the rest of their 2003 Orion VII Gen-1 CNG's will be gone.
