After being shot down in an attempt to maintain quarantine, survivors of the crash attempt to find safe haven. Amongst the survivor is Emma Jaunt, a big movie star with a well stocked and fortified home. After covering the escape of Emma Jaunt and others, Jacob is bitten but manages to make his way through the newly dubbed HELL-A to Emma's residence. After surviving the bite, Jacob is found to be immune to the zombie disease and attempts to contact health officials to see if they can make a cure or vaccine with his blood. DEAD ISLAND 2 is a 1st person action adventure game.
