"Elektron Syntakt is Basic AF!!"

Elektron Syntakt is a basic drum machine with some interesting twist & turns! This drum computer has 12 tracks (8 digital & 4 analog). The simple workflow is what I'm attracted too (especially for jamming). Not much menu diving outside of the sound browser, options, & project saving (saving projects are weirdly satisfying). Unlike my favorite groove box (the MPC ONE & Live 2) the learning curves very low but sound design options keeps things interesting. The sequencers is "not bad". I tried to give people a variety of styles (Minus trap!!..... Yeah, I forgot about that genre). Overall, I think the only real cons I have for the Syntakt is the lack of a sample engine. It would of been cool to import a loop or one shot & access some type of time stretch. However, not a big issue. The price point (iabout $1000 USD) is a bit up there but if you're looking for something cheaper (with the same workflow). I recommend the Elektron Model:Cycles at $330 USD.
