Man Arrested For DUI After Crashing Into Utility Pole 3/9/2019

DATE/TIME: 3/9/2019 12:51am CITY/AREA: San Diego (Shelltown) LOCATION: 3600 Main St. INCIDENT TYPE: DUI/Traffic Accident INCIDENT DETAILS: A man leaving work to go home noticed a man driving a Ford Escape nearly crashing into a fence along the Training Support Center San Diego, as he was coming off the I-15 Freeway. The man stated he saw the driver of the Ford crash into a utility pole about a 1/4 mile down the street. The man pulled over to ask if the driver of the Ford was okay. The man was clearly under the influence of alcohol. San Diego Police and San Diego Fire-Rescue arrived and evaluated the driver and he was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after refusing medical attention.
