After months of thinking and exploring our options, we decided to move to a city that we had never been before. Moving during the pandemic and record wildfires on the West Coast spreading thousands of miles across the country didn't make it any easier. But despite all the circumstances, we managed to turn a long drive from Illinois to Washington into an exciting road trip.
