1991 was my first year playing guitar. It was also the year i discovered everything and everyone else that had been smashing it through the 80s. Bill and Ted's bogus journey came out that year as well as the soundtrack. The soundtrack was my very first introduction to Winger and Richie Kotzen. Richie's song 'dream of a new day' blew my mind. His tone and playing was like nothing else i had heard yet. Well! A few weeks ago some fellow sparkers asked for a Kotzen tone for the spark. After a bit of research uncovered that Richie would have been using a laney amp at the time i decided to go straight for the Bogner model on the spark. Bear in mind this is an early Kotzen tone and getting there was made easier with my incredible Kotzen tele. I'll be sharing the tone in the comments section.
