A Bedtime Prayer Before Sleep at Night - Lord, I Pray for Protection as I Sleep - A Night Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, I come before you in prayer, humbly asking for your presence to surround me as I lay down to sleep. I thank you for the gift of this day, for the moments of joy, the challenges that have helped me grow, and your constant presence with me. Lord, I surrender all my worries, burdens, and concerns into your loving hands. I release any anxieties that may have consumed me during the day. Fill my entire being with your peace, and grant me a calm and restful sleep. Father, I pray for protection during the night. Shield me from any harm or evil that may try to come near. I trust in your unfailing love and believe that you are my fortress and refuge. May your angels encamp around me, guarding me from all danger. Lord, As I close my eyes, I invite your Holy Spirit to bring me comfort and renewal. Let your presence be felt as I drift off into sleep, and awaken me in the morning with a renewed spirit. Thank you, Father, for your constant care and love. I commit myself into your hands, knowing that you are always with me. “Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:12-13)
