Habronattus ophrys Jumping Spider
The genus Habronattus has some of the snazziest spiders of all the salticids. This adult male was wandering across a log infested by big carpenter ants. The log is a favorite breeding ground for zebra spiders and Phidippus audax. He is very fast and jumps at least 10cm. I created this video, own all its content and have assigned rights to nobody.
