Thomas & Friends - Thomas Wooden Railway 2006 US Yearbook (06/25/2010)

This is an old Thomas Wooden Railway yearbook marketed in the United States that I recorded footage of over a decade ago. Plus, it's the first Thomas & Friends video I have uploaded to YouTube in a long time. As you probably guessed, I used my Flip Video camera/camcorder for it. For those who don't know what Thomas Wooden Railway is, it was a popular range of wooden toy trains based on the British kids' TV show, Thomas & Friends, produced from 1992 to 2017. Initially, it was produced and marketed for the first nineteen years by Learning Curve, but Fisher-Price took over in 2011. I have lots of fond memories of this toy range. I started playing with its products on a play table when I was at a local toy store back in 2001, and the next year, in 2002, my grandmother from my mom's side of the family sent me an old Lift & Load TWR set as a birthday gift. Sadly, my same grandmother passed away from a stroke almost a year later in early August 2003 while my parents and I were at Disneyland Resort during our family vacation in southern California, sixteen-and-a-half years before my mom passed away from leukemia in early March of this year. They always loved getting me gifts, and I appreciate them! Over the years, I have collected lots of Wooden Railway characters, such as Thomas (standard and gold counterparts), Edward, Henry (standard and 60th anniversary counterparts), Gordon, James, Percy (standard and silver counterparts), Toby, Duck, Donald, Douglas, Oliver, Emily, Molly, Hank, Stanley, Annie and Clarabel, the giggling Troublesome Trucks, and more, as well as many other TWR products, like ones you will see in this yearbook video (including the ones with checkmarks drawn, indicating products I had and others I intended to collect). I even remember watching fan videos of Thomas Wooden Railway products here on YouTube back in 2009, 2010, and 2011, all before I started my YouTube channel in early 2012. Those were awesome times! To this day, I still have a whole lot of TWR products stored in my family's garage, so I hopefully intend to build a TWR layout again one day. In this footage, my parents were talking in the background, unaware that this video was being recorded somewhere nearby, so I decided to mute the original audio altogether and replace it with royalty-free music (credited below) in order to make it truly enjoyable. Sorry about the fact I was flipping through a few of its final pages slightly fast, but I assumed my parents were trying to ask me about something, so I had to rush it a bit. The results otherwise came out decent. No worries though; I still have this yearbook stored somewhere, so I will redo this video in HD or 4K at some point in the future. For now, enjoy!
