It was developed by Sledgehammer Games for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and by High Moon Studios for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It was released on November 4, 2014 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3,[1] Xbox 360, and PC. It was the first game to be developed primarily by Sledgehammer Games, as they helped develop Modern Warfare 3 with Infinity Ward in 2011. It is also the first main series game since Call of Duty 3 to not use the IW Engine.
