DIY Brain Surgeon - iGam4er 2014

Demo of a jam game I made with Dox Vico and Rémi Leblanc at iGam4er 2014. The game uses Pedro Lopes’ muscle stimulation hardware (http://plopes.org), originally designed to create force feedback for mobile games. We decided to repurpose the hardware, to create involuntary motion in the players’ arms while they were using the mouse. The idea was that you’re performing surgery on your own brain, and when you cut through the nerve endings you get involuntary motion in your arms, causing you to move the mouse. Cutting through brain tissue will harm you, so you need focus on counteracting the muscle stimulation with your body! More information on iGam4er is at http://igam4er.org
