One of the flagship schemes of the Karnataka government, Gruhalakshmi scheme aims to give Rs 2000 to 1. 33 Cr women who have enrolled for it. The scheme is for woman of a hosehold. The scheme will have an exchequeur burden of Rs 32,000 Cr but the Kranataka govt has been pushing for this second scheme that are exclusively targetted at women.
