Preoperative anxiety is a phenomenon that impacts several children, parents and healthcare workers all around the world, and despite the various attempts at researching novel interventions there is a lack of treatment options available. Thus, this video describes and explains preoperative anxiety in children, along with an introduction to a potential treatment method that was created by researchers at McMaster University.
