Cleveland weather: Winter weather returns this weekend in Northeast Ohio

Cleveland weather forecast for Friday, February 27, 2026. The cooler air settles in this weekend with highs ranging from the 30s in our northern counties, to 40s for most everyone else, to near 50 south. Sun will give way to increasing clouds and some late-day snow will work through northern Ohio. We could turn a little slushy Saturday evening into Saturday night before colder air moves in Sunday. Sunday's highs will struggle to get out of the upper 20s. Monday features another quick-moving area of snow that will slide through Ohio. We'll keep snow showers in the forecast with any accumulations staying on the minor side. Another system comes at us on Tuesday with a brief wintry mix in the morning that changes over to rain as temps warm into the 40s by afternoon. A rainy pattern takes over after that with waves of rainfall all the way through the next weekend. Temps will continue to climb as well with 50s and even 60s on tap late next week!
